MantelAB, Canada- Temps plein
Mantel is developing the first molten-salt-based carbon capture technology which is designed to operate at the high temperatures found inside boilers, kilns, and furnaces – enabling highly efficient carbon capture that has not been possible until now. Carbon capture can be applied across industries to reduce emissions and achieve net-negative emissions. By solving for efficiency, Mantel can cut costs substantially, unlocking carbon capture’s role in reaching net zero emissions by 2050.
Mantel is looking for a Project Director excited to join a promising carbon capture startup working on the development of molten salts as a novel CO2 sorbent material. The Project Director will be responsible for managing full projects, from feasibility to FEED to construction and commissioning. This position will serve as the project lead, working with Mantel’s senior design engineers and coordinating with multiple EPCs, consultants, equipment vendors, and customer engineering / trades / operations to complete detailed design, build, and installation of early commercial units. Specific technical tasks include customer relations, maintaining cross-discipline coordination with Mantel product and R&D teams, project schedule ownership, facilitation of weekly status meetings, internal and external technical presentation and reporting, technical deliverable review and tracking, and coordination with management on project staffing. Mantel is looking for a well-organized, versatile technical problem solver who can think outside the box and communicate effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
