Description
We are currently seeking a Process Engineering Co-Op student to join our process engineering team located at 71 Orenda Road, Brampton, ON beginning in the Winter 2027 term.
When you join us you will;
- Assist in the creation of process flow charts, work instructions and control plans using the companies Visual Standard work instruction format.
- Support the Process Engineer in optimizing plant performance
- Assist in troubleshooting of plant issues and, assist in the development of long and short term solutions utilizing Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis.
- Utilize the companies’ tools for handling process data for analysis and report daily on Plant issues.
- Prepare and present summary reports, performance metrics reports, and graphical representation for presentations as required
- Collect data for analysis to uncover areas for improvements and innovation
- Perform other duties as assigned
Our ideal candidate would be:
- 3rd or 4th year student enrolled in a Mechanical or Industrial Engineering program.
- Prior Co-Op/Intern experience preferred.
- Excellent organization and analytical skills
- Strong communication (written, verbal, and presentation) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to establish priorities and work effectively in a team
- Works well independently
Hours/ Days / Schedule
Hours of work will be primarily Monday through Friday {30 – 40 hours, day shift}.
