Description de poste
Are you ready to build the future of infrastructure?
Are you passionate about complex structures and large-scale technical challenges? Do you want to play a key role in delivering projects that transform the urban landscape of the Montreal metropolitan area? Do you have the ambition to lead concrete or paving sites within an agile structure where your autonomy will truly be valued? As a civil project manager, you won't just be a number, but the conductor of concrete and lasting achievements.

The civil project manager position involves the complete management of infrastructure projects, from initial planning to final delivery. You will act as the central pivot between field teams, subcontractors, and clients, while ensuring respect for budgets, schedules, and the strictest safety standards.

Advantages
Working for an organization with over 50 years of history and more than 1000 employees offers unparalleled stability while maintaining a human dimension. Here are the benefits offered for the civil project manager position:

Competitive Compensation: An annual salary between $90,000 and $120,000, depending on your level of experience.

Major Vehicle Allowance: An envelope ranging from $13,000 to $15,000 for your travel.

Financial Security: An employer contribution to your RRSP that can reach $7,000 per year.

Performance Bonus: Annual bonus program ranging from 5% to 10%.

Flexible Vacations: 4 weeks of vacation per year (2 weeks in winter and 2 weeks in summer, which can be taken outside of the official construction holiday periods).

Professional Support: Full reimbursement of your annual dues to the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).

Stimulating Environment: A less compartmentalized structure than multinational corporations, allowing you to touch all administrative and technical aspects of a project.

Field Proximity: An active presence on job sites across Montreal to see the concrete evolution of your work.

Responsibilities
In your duties as a civil project manager, your tasks will be varied and essential to the success of operations:

Coordinate the different stages of work on sites located in the Montreal area.

Ensure rigorous cost tracking and management of allocated budgets.

Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.

Develop and update production schedules using MS Project.

Actively participate in site meetings and ensure fluid communication with all stakeholders.

Ensure the strict application of prevention and health and safety programs.

Qualifications
To excel as a civil project manager, we are looking for the following profile:

Hold a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.

Be a member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) or have EIT (CPI) status.

Have at least 5 years of experience in the field of infrastructure construction (civil, concrete, or paving).

Hold a valid ASP Construction card.

Mastery of Suite Office tools and MS Project software.

Demonstrate natural leadership and a great capacity for team problem-solving.

Be available to work on various sites within the metropolitan region.
