Job DescriptionThis Manager – Business Development position reports directly to the Chief Investment Officer and is responsible for developing relationships with investment advisors. This dynamic role is all about raising capital! Position Summary : WHAT YOU WILL DOProvide client service for both current and prospective investment advisors over the phone and virtuallyPerform proactive call and information campaigns to promote DAMI and partners' product offerings to existing and potential investment advisorsRespond to inquiries on products, fund management strategies, portfolio manager philosophies / processes / styles and industry trendsDevelop sales campaigns and materials and assist in conducting meetings with the portfolio manager.Conduct industry research and advisor-specific researchWHAT YOU WILL BRING2-3 years of relevant working experience in the investment industry; dealer sales (Mutual funds and securities). Alternative asset funds knowledge is a bonusUndergraduate degree in business or finance, with an excellent academic background and extracurricularsAn understanding of financial concepts keeps up to date with financial news, capital markets, etc.Canadian Securities Course is a required designation.
