Dermatologic services on Vancouver Island are currently provided in the cities of Courtenay, Nanaimo, and Victoria.
In Nanaimo, you will join one other medical dermatologist providing services to a referral population of 250,000. The patient population is quite varied with an emphasis on seniors, presenting with skin cancer. Local services include phototherapy and excellent plastic surgery expertise. Affiliation with the University of British Columbia’s Island Medical Program provides teaching opportunities to medical students and residents.
