The Northern Alberta YMCA is looking for a positive and accountable candidate to fill the Evening Child Minding Coordinator role. They will effectively provide supervision and planning of all child-minding programs.

Schedule :
Monday to Thursday from 4 : 15 PM - 8 : 15 PM

Essential Functions
- Assist the supervisor as needed in recruiting, training, coaching and supervising staff and volunteers.
- Ensure staff and volunteers understand and follow the standards of the YMCA.
- Staff and volunteer scheduling.
- If the Supervisor is unavailable address member complaints, and issues that may arise.
- Role model recruitment and retention of staff and volunteers, work as a team to reach recruitment goals, develop and maintain positive relationships with staff, volunteers, programs participants and colleagues at all levels of the organization.
- Consistent communication with staff, volunteers and members, respond to calls, messages and emails in a timely manner. Ensure assigned administrative duties are effectively completed in a timely manner.
- Coordinate and facilitate the operations of all programs and services.
- Actively supervise all participants, instructors and ensure instructors performance is aligned with job duties and responsibilities.
- Ensure program schedules have a variety of options and times, follow procedure for cancellations.
- Follow OH&S standards.
