JOB DESCRIPTION :

Do you enjoy turning ideas into tangible products?

We are seeking a passionate Product Developer to contribute to the design and development of custom projects. Using SolidWorks, you will play a key role in bridging the design, production, and project management teams to deliver innovative, functional, and high-quality solutions.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Design and develop custom products using SolidWorks;
  
• Create technical drawings, assembly drawings, and manufacturing documentation;
  
• Analyze client needs and propose appropriate solutions;
  
• Select materials, components, and finishes based on project requirements;
  
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure design feasibility;
  
• Prepare and maintain bills of materials (BOMs) and technical documentation;
  
• Support production activities and resolve manufacturing-related technical issues;
  
• Participate in design meetings and project follow-ups;
  
• Review and validate internal and external technical drawings;
  
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of products and manufacturing processes;
  
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, budgets, and project timelines;
  
• Provide technical support to sales, project management, and production teams.
  

Profil

QUALIFICATIONS :

• College diploma (DEC) or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or equivalent);
  
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in product design or product development;
  
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally involving custom-made product development;
  
• Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks;
  
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and technical drawing interpretation;
  
• Manufacturing industry experience;
  
• Bilingualism in French and English, both written and spoken;
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy;
  
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
  

Informations contractuelles

WORK CONDITIONS :

• Permanent full-time position;
  
• Annual salary ranging from $75,000 to $80,000, depending on experience;
