Position Summary
Theratechnologies is a unique company with a Global Medical Affairs organization dedicated to metabolic health in the HIV population, including its long-term impact on cardiovascular health, as well as rare diseases. As Theratechnologies expands its footprint in Canada within the rare disease space, we seek agile Medical Affairs professionals to build strong relationships with Canadian healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
- Provides scientific support for Theratechnologies’ product portfolio for Health Care Professionals (HCPs), institutions and organizations and serves as a scientific expertat key medical and scientific conferences, advisory boards, internal meetings, and patientadvocacy group meetings
- Serves as a primaryliaison for clinicaland scientific information exchange between Thera and HCPs, institutions and organizations and maintains discussions related to olezarsen / familial chylomicronemia syndrome (FCS) and Hereditary Angioedema (HAE)
- Engages with specified KOLs / external clinical and scientific experts, institutions, and organizations in theirterritory in appropriate high‐level scientific supportfor publications, education, consulting, and other Medical Affairs initiatives
- Ensures effective communication across his / herteam and cross‐functionally in carrying out Medical Affairs tactics and as needed
- Acquires, maintains, and continually developsscientific knowledge relatedto approved products and pipeline agents, and the relevant competitive landscape
- Provides independent thought to and leads the development of medical affairs resources / projects that further the strategic aims and mission of the company
- Collects, analyzes,and communicates fair‐balanced information concerning the therapeutic area, treatment options and emerging standards of care
- Identifies strategic market opportunities for Theratechnologies usingscientific field intelligence and communicates these imperatives to internal stakeholders
- Mentors’ colleagues on scientific strategies, therapeutic and diseasestate science – plays a role in professional development for others
- Responds to unsolicited medicalinformation requests on Theratechnologies products
- Provides effectiveand tailored clinicalpresentations to internaland external audiences to meet specific audience needs
- Conducts local roundtables and education programsthat aim to satisfy the specific needs of individual KOLs and institutions
- Provides scientific training to externalparties (HCPs / companies) as required
- Demonstrates understanding and mastery of the specificMedical Affairs functionwithin the organization
- Ensures the achievement of individual and team objectives and results consistent with medical strategy and corporate priorities
- Performs any other dutiesrequired by the management
