Description
The Automation Engineer is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and commissioning of automation and control systems for Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSGs) and Once Through Steam Generators (OTSGs). This role supports all phases of a project by developing control system documentation, coordinating automation activities, and ensuring control systems meet project specifications, customer requirements, and applicable industry standards.
The Automation Engineer works closely with engineering, drafting, project management, procurement, manufacturing, and customers to deliver reliable and effective automation solutions. This position also provides commissioning support, performance testing, troubleshooting, and technical assistance for the installed fleet while identifying opportunities to improve system performance, standardization, and operational efficiency. This position reports to the Assistant GM.
