Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist

Location : Northern Ontario

Salary : $38.77 - $51.53 per hour

Sign-On Bonus : $6,500

Our client is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist to join their healthcare team in Northern Ontario . This role offers a diverse caseload , working across outpatient, acute care, complex continuing care, and long-term care settings .

About the Role

The successful candidate will work alongside an interdisciplinary healthcare team to assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans that support patient rehabilitation and improve overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive assessment and treatment for patients in multiple care settings.
  • Develop personalized rehabilitation plans to support mobility, function, and independence.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques and rehabilitation strategies.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario OR
  • Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
  • Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills.
  • Ability to work in multiple healthcare settings.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
