JOB SUMMARY :
The employee in this classification is, on assigned shift, responsible to direct and participate in the efficient operation of plant turbines, generators, boilers, emission control systems and associated auxiliaries to meet generating requirements.

In the event there are no fully qualified applicants, applicants possessing a 3rd Class Power Engineer’s Certificate and six (6) of six (6) papers required towards the 2nd Class Power Engineer’s Certificate may be appointed.
This position falls within the scope of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), Local 2067.
Candidates under consideration may be required to participate in an assessment process consisting of any / all of the following : interview, abilities test, case study and / or presentation.
