Full Stack Developer

Four Eyes Financial is a Canadian Wealth/RegTech software company looking to welcome an ambitious Full Stack Developer to the team. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of the Four Eyes Intelligent Compliance Platform in an Agile & fast-paced start-up development environment.

Candidate must be located in New Brunswick.


Focus Areas

Back-End Development: Implement secure and efficient API end-points.

  • Develop and unit-test secure REST and GraphQL APIs.
  • Implement Python concurrent programming (AsyncIO, threads, processes).
  • Manage and query SQL databases, specifically PostgreSQL.
  • Utilize standard development tools, including Visual Studio and DBeaver.


Quality Control: Perform code reviews and testing to maintain high-quality code.

  • Write, execute, and evaluate comprehensive unit tests.
  • Analyze test results and resolve defects prior to deployment.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality and functionality.

    Team & Culture: Thrive and meet deadlines within an agile, lean startup environment.

    • Communicate effectively with peers, document systems for the team, and present ideas to stakeholders.
    • Champion a culture of respect, accountability, and partnership.
    • Propose process improvements to optimize data flow, quality, and usability.
    • Evaluate and integrate emerging AI tools to enhance workflows and continuous learning.
    • Actively give and receive constructive feedback on code and UI design.
    • Drive work forward independently, taking initiative to seek support and clear blockers as needed.


      Qualifications

      • Experience in CSS (Styling and Transitions), JavaScript, and Python.
      • Desire to work in a start-up or fast growth environment.
      • Experience working with API endpoints.
      • Experience designing and executing Unit Testing.
      • Desire to gain experience in responsive design using REACT with AntD and developing in the AWS ecosystem.
      • Experience with Serverless Applications (AWS).
      • Experience working with Linux.
      • Experience using D3 and data visualizations.
