We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Fundraising Officer to join our team in Toronto, Ontario. In this role, you will be instrumental in advancing our fundraising efforts through strategic planning, operational execution, and relationship management. You will work on delivering effective fundraising campaigns, maintaining donor engagement, and supporting the overall sustainability of our mission-driven work.

Responsibilities

• Organize and execute fund development opportunities to support our mission.
• Lead individual giving campaigns to expand our donor outreach and engagement.
• Develop and implement donor retention strategies to foster loyalty and long-term support.
• Handle inquiries from stakeholders interested in fundraising partnerships.
• Collaborate with team members across different offices and regions to ensure cohesive fundraising efforts.
• Utilize tools such as Salesforce and Asana to effectively manage multiple projects and ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
• Manage budgets, contracts, and supplier relationships strategically and responsibly.
• Adhere to ethical fund development practices and organizational guidelines.
• Leverage software such as Adobe Suite and Canva for designing campaign materials.
• Use Microsoft Office products for documentation, budgeting, and reporting.
• Analyze and engage donor trends and behaviors using donor databases like Salesforce.
• Contribute to the overall strategy, execution, and evaluation of our fundraising program.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role as a Fundraising Officer.
• Proficient in using CRM software, ideally Salesforce Platform.
• Demonstrated ability in compliance with regulations related to fundraising activities.
• Experience in counselling or providing counsels is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proven track record in disbursement of funds.
• Ability to plan, manage and execute fundraising campaigns.
• Experience in using Fundraising Database.
• Demonstrated expertise in fundraising management.
• Proven ability to develop effective fundraising plans.
• Ability to create and implement successful fundraising strategies.
