WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As a Quality Engineer, you'll be a key part of our Quality team, using your advanced problem-solving abilities and attention to detail to maintain highest product quality and customer satisfaction. Your work will directly support our continuous innovation and growth efforts.

Responsibilities

  • .Troubleshoot Product Failures
  • Write and execute test plans to find the root cause of failures
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders on corrective and preventative actions
  • Provide NCR and 8D documentation for the failure analysis
  • Provide customers with technical updates on the failure analysis
  • Design test fixtures and software solutions to expedite execution of testing

WHO YOU ARE:

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS or MS in Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering Technology, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of quality-related work experience
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Solid experience in setting up and using DAQ’s, sensors and actuators
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly and disassembly and competent with hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, hand drill etc.)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, quality control / inspection plans, and product specifications
  • Knowledge of various manufacturing processes including CNC machining, injection molding, extruding, welding, additive manufacturing, surface treatment, etc.
  • Working knowledge of 3D modeling and design software such as Solidworks
  • Experience in using bench tools (oscilloscope, power analyzer, logic analyzer, multimer, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience in testing and qualifying electro-mechanical parts and systems
  • Experience in root-causing product failures, 8D reporting, as well as developing corrective, and preventative actions recommendations

Skills:

  • Excellent English skills for internal/external communication and technical writing
  • Willingness to travel up 10% of the time
