Summary

The individual will utilize the engineering principles of solid and rock mechanics, geology and construction to understand their effects on the physical environment. • Bachelor’s degree ( in Civil Engineering required
• in Civil Engineering preferred
• 2-5 years of experience working as a Geotechnical Engineer
• Professional Engineer ( certification required

Supervisory Responsibilities This position has supervisory responsibilities. Essential Functions

Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to be at site locations on the ground, sit, stand, walk, use both hands, and reach and raise items above the head, use fingers to feel and handle, talk and hear. While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently is required to stoop, kneel and crouch, lift weight or exert a force up to a maximum of 50 pounds. Work Environment Approximately 25% performed in an external environment, on-site, outdoors, exposed to the elements of nature working under normal construction conditions. Approximately 75% performed in climate-controlled internal office environment working under normal office conditions.
