Job Description
This work involved providing paramedic services and health guidance to individuals, families, and groups in Northern communities of Manitoba. Our goal is to provide our communities with gentle guidance with the prevention of disease and the promotion and maintenance of health. This opportunity also involves deliving primary care and emergency services (potentially participating in medevacs and medical evacuations) of a mental health, medical, obstetrical or trauma related nature.
Your scope of practice will follow the parameters of the College of Manitoba, and you will have the chance to learn more about community cultures and trauma-related care. You could also have the chance to view the beauty of the area through travel in small aircraft, off road vehicles, snowmobiles, and other similar modes of transportation, including small watercraft, in varied weather conditions, to communities in Remote, Semi-Isolated and Isolated areas.
