Hi, we're looking for a reliable and flexible nanny to look after our 2-year-old in the North Petawawa area, for 30h / week Monday to Friday, one year contract. Likely 9am - 3pm but may shift around depending on our work schedules.This is a live-out position, at $22 / hr gross (via HeartPay, taxes deducted etc.). To be considered, you must have a valid CPR certification.Some more details about our household : - No pets- No allergies- One child only, with an easy-going personality- Mom works from home in a separate office upstairs- Child is still nursing, but also eating solids well- Child naps ~1.5h a day in the early afternoon- We just moved to the area so we're holding off on toilet training and weaning until we're more settled inSome things we're looking for : - Someone who is comfortable doing food prep for the toddler (e.g. cooking eggs, warming up food, chopping fruits and veggies) and light tidying (e.g. tidying toys used at the end of the day, washing toddler plates used), but no housekeeping or laundry expected.- Would love someone who is happy to do playgroups, library, splash pad, etc, either driving or walking.- Looking for someone patient, with a supportive, non-judgemental, but firm approach to guide our toddler.Bonus points for : - Willingness to reinforce Spanish words / read Spanish board books, since we're trying to teach Spanish as well- Certification in early childhood education or someone who keeps on top of research related to child development- Love of music and singingIf you meet these requirements and are interested, message me today.
