The role we are offering you :
By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to perform software development tasks on small to medium sized projects.
Project work may span the entire software engineering discipline. Detailed activities may include requirements analysis, documentation, as well as designing, coding, debugging, and testing new and existing software in C# or other languages (such as PowerShell, SQL, Java).
Our ideal candidate has :
A base understanding of Object-Oriented programing
Experience with C#, Java and / or SQL is advantageous
Self motivated, able to work autonomously
Enjoys working in small teams
A strong work ethic, and is interested in learning new skills.
Preferred Education
Enrolled in a STEM program pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics, preferably in their 3rd or 4th year.
The following additional qualifications also apply :
Must be able to hold Controlled Goods and Enhanced Reliability security clearance with the Government of Canada
Location of the internship is in Halifax ( Lacewood Drive near the 102) .
Internship will be carried out in hybrid mode.
- All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada and must meet the requirements of the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP). All hires will be required to complete, sign and return the Controlled Goods Program form within a week of its transmittal. They must also provide a copy of their passport or birth certificate. All students with a work permit must provide a copy of it and a police clearance certificate from the country or countries where they have resided in the past five years.
