Role Description
This is a contract role for a Medical Office Assistant Instructor located in Coquitlam, BC. As an MOA instructor, you will be responsible for delivering lessons in Medical Terminology and / or Medical Office Procedures, Billing, & Clinical Practice to students in a classroom setting. Your tasks will include teaching medical office assistant skills, conducting assessments, providing feedback to students, and ensuring a positive learning environment. This is an on-site role, and you will be based at our Coquitlam location.
Qualifications
- Teaching or training experience is required
- Experience as a Medical Office Assistant or in a related healthcare role is required
- Experience with Medical Billing and EMR
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including the use of MS Teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Patient and empathetic approach Requirements :
- Work Permit
