Job Title : DevOps - AWS Cloud Engineer
Location : BC Canada
Skills and Qualifications :
- Mandatory Skills :
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience working as a DevOps Engineer, with a strong focus on AWS Cloud.
- Expertise in DevOps tools such as Git, GitHub Actions, AWS CDK / CloudFormation, Helm, and Terraform.
- Proficiency in AWS cloud computing and services (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.).
- Extensive experience in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless architecture.
- Expertise in CI / CD pipeline setup, continuous integration, and deployment processes.
- Strong background in web technologies and APIs (REST, FHIR, Java, JavaScript, .NET / C#, Spring Framework).
- Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code (e.g., AWS CloudFormation / CDK, Terraform).
- Experience in FHIR resource development and healthcare IT integration standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in high-traffic production environments.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred Skills :
- Experience with Smile CDR or other healthcare interoperability platforms.
- Familiarity with FHIR resource development, transformation, and validation in Health IT.
- Knowledge of relational databases and API development.
- JavaScript and Java experience is an asset.
- Strong interest in the latest trends and technologies in healthcare IT.
