AECOM Buildings Places the companys architectural business unit it seeking a  Mechanical Engineer  to be based out of the Halifax Nova Scotiaarea. This individual will work on Marine facilities and infrastructure such as jetties wharfs and piers.

Major Responsibilities :

• Provides specialized technical input to Mechanical studies and design of Marine facilities and infrastructure such as jetties wharfs and piers
• As a senior technical resource the job incumbent may serve as technical advisor for team
• Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by others
• Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables
• Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects
• Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package
• Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings
• Prepares technical specification sections
• Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements :

In order to be considered for this position candidates must possess no less than :

Demonstrated equivalency of experience and / or education may be considered.

Engineering designation (P.Eng) required.

Preferred Requirements :

Experience with Ship to Shore mechanical services design such as oily water sanitary bilge water compressed air etc.
