What will you do?

In this role you will be responsible for executing data analysis within a framework of guided research.

Working alongside one of BCA's strategists, this is what a typical day could look like :

• You will collect and process economic and statistical data using Macrobond, APL, Bloomberg and available data sources.
• You will keep track of economic and financial data releases, as well as economic policy announcements.
• You will participate in research idea generation in an area of focus (region and / or asset class).
• You will break down information / data and identify underlying causes to perform data analysis, testing and to create / develop / maintain basic models and indicators to support your Managing Editors hypotheses.
• You will assist in the production process by autonomously conducting preliminary research and creating detailed charts.
• You will develop analysis and writing skills by contributing to regular publications and special reports.
• You will provide client support on data and charts.
• You will be responsible for proofreading.
• Publication command : mastery of the technical tools, publication process and efficiency.
• Analytical Rigor : analysis of the data and concern for order quality and accuracy.
