We are actively seeking a Senior Product and Sales Manager on behalf of our international client, a global leader specialized in the manufacturing of high technology systems : vacuum furnaces and heat treatment, crystal growth and plasma systems for multiple industries such as semiconductor, hard metals, electronics, optics, energy, among others.
This position will be responsible for leading strategic sales activities for the development of vacuum furnace systems in several sectors.
100% remote (Ontario area / East Canada)
Main missions :
Develop new sales opportunities for Industrial Furnace with strategic customer accounts.
Develop and manage the Canadian Industrial Furnace sales, operating budgets and forecast, within corporate guidelines, ensuring positive EBIT.
Travel to locations throughout Canada and present product offerings and collect external customers’ and engineer’s requirements and viewpoints to senior management.
Develop programs and strategies to measure and meet customer expectations.
Attend trade shows lectures at technical conferences and present the companies technology to the Canadian Market place
Execute a Strategic Development Program in conjunction with the client which extends our product line offering into the Canadian Markets.
May assist in developing a local contract service operations center, establish local supply chain and or full manufacturing capability, while ensuring the regional requirements reflect current and projected needs.
Monitor and ensure opportunities are coordinated with different subsidiaries.
Develop complete understanding of the equipment, modifications and current offerings and produce and present sales materials to effect positive development of the Industrial Market.
Assist in the formulation, documentation and implementation of ISO compliant organizational safety standards technical service bulletins, best operating practices (BOP), product safety notifications (PSN), as well as best known methods (BKM)
Qualifications :
Minimum of BS in Mechanical Engineering or Material Sciences. MBA or PhD is highly desirable.
7-10 years of experience in Project or Product Management, Manufacturing or Sales and Marketing (ideally sales of heattreatment, diffusion bonding, vacuum brazing furnaces for metallurgical processes or chemical vapor deposition infiltration (CVD / CVI).
Basic contacts to industrial manufacturing companies
Experience, at least basic knowledge in materials technology and or contract services
Experience in Value Analysis and Engineering, desirable
Advanced or Native in English, French and German will be seen as a plus
Must have valid passport driver’s license and be willing to travel more than 50% as standard routine.

Ability to analyze complex business operations information and data, compile and present management reports, presentations ,and effectively respond to questions from suppliers, customers, and other interested parties regarding same.
Ability to lead by example, solve practical business problems, recommend and execute effective solutions.
Ability to effectively interface and negotiate directly with customers and suppliers.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Familiarity with Miller Heiman Sales methodology would be advantageous.
