Job Description
The Maintenance Advisor position is responsible for the management and updating of internal processes and procedures relative to API and other regulatory body standards and requirements. The Maintenance Advisor is also responsible for providing guidance and support in the maintenance of equipment ensuring the safe and reliable operation of Parkers assets. The Maintenance Advisor will work closely with engineering, operations and the various maintenance teams to enhance asset performance, reduce downtime and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Drive the development of maintenance plans and schedules and follow-up to ensure timely execution and completion of maintenance activities
- Provide oversight of inspection, testing and maintenance activities
- Plan maintenance activities and asset management while overseeing preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance programs
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve performance and reduce cost
- Ensure accurate data entry and reporting to support decision-making and improve maintenance efficiency
- Use available systems to ensure that maintenance plans an schedules are optimized for efficiency
