Job Description
The House of Commons’ Office of the Sergeant-at-Arms and Corporate Security is currently looking to staff multiple positions of Security Screening Analyst on determinate and/or indeterminate basis. This position is full time on-site.
Within this role, you are accountable for the ongoing processing of security accreditation and screening requests required by the House of Commons (HoC) and certain parliamentary partners, and for ensuring that documentation is complete and in compliance with security policy and with the requirements of partners such as Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) and others.
The incumbent is responsible for verifying and analyzing security screening requests, providing decisions or recommendations to senior leadership, producing reports and completing the security screening process by producing employee ID cards, and passes for visitors and other persons accessing Parliamentary Precinct facilities.

Qualifications
Education :
- Successful completion of post-secondary education or an acceptable combination of education, training and relevant experience.
Experiences:
- Experience of industry-standards on security policies, procedures and processes;
- Experience verifying and analyzing information provided for obtaining a security clearance and the issuance of access cards;
- Experience in overseeing the completion and processing of personal security screening;
- Experience in briefing management for matters of escalation;
- Experience in collaborating with internal and external partners;
- Experience in processing and analyzing confidential requests in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment;
- Experience in interpreting and inputting data;
- Good knowledge of MS Office software and the ability to learn new software or web applications;
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage conflicting priorities and deadlines.
Asset:
- Recent experience, as defined by, within the last 5 years in processing security screening and client service.
