We are looking for a Shipper / Receiver / Material Handler to join our team and support our operations by managing inventory, shipping, receiving, and material handling.
Key Responsibilities :
Process and fulfill product orders efficiently
Receive, register, and distribute incoming shipments and mail within the company
Verify received parts, materials, and equipment against vendor packing slips and purchase orders
Ensure accurate entry of received purchase orders into the system
Maintain stockroom organization by counting, cleaning, organizing, labeling and cataloging inventory
Schedule shipments and plan logistics to ensure adequate storage space
Properly and safely package customer items using appropriate packaging tools and materials
Prepare shipping, and receiving reports as needed
Report discrepancies or damages immediately and submit Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
Create bills of lading (BOLs) and shipping labels, arranging pickups according to the production timeline
Coordinate with shipping companies regarding pickups, delays, and discrepancies
Keep the entrances, shop and warehouse clean and organized, disposing of excess packaging materials
Ensure compliance with environmental management systems and workplace safety regulations
Participate in process improvement projects related to material and information flow
Qualifications & Skills :
Proven experience as a Shipping Clerk, Shipper / Receiver, or similar role
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while being a strong team player
Good physical health must be able to lift 75 lbs safely
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Must be organized, responsible, and detail-oriented
Forklift operation experience is an asset
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
