Secondary Learning Resource Teacher
The Aspen Learning Center (ALC) is located at MacNeill Secondary School. This multi-dimensional position requires a very adaptable, collegial individual to work in a specialized position.
A full-time learning resource teacher is required to plan, develop, implement and evaluate appropriate and effective individualized educational programs for the ALC. This position is based on the best practices framework for students with complex support needs who currently benefit from a small learning environment with the goal to return to their mainstream inclusive school community. Each student's individualized goals include developing improved self-regulation, communication skills, social/emotional development and foundational academic skills.

The successful candidate for this position must be certified by the Ministry of Education and Childcare and hold the necessary qualifications required for Learning Resource teaching.
