Your application should provide information on how you meet the following Essential criteria as listed in the advertisement below, in addition to including your résumé :

• High school diploma and / or an acceptable combination of education and / or experience in operating heavy equipment such as loaders, graders, plow trucks, etc.
• Experience in the operation of snow removal with heavy equipment such as a loader, a plow truck and / or a hydraulic snow blower.

Employee with dependants : $3.28 hourly ($6,836 per year)

Employee without dependants : $1.97 hourly ($4,102 per year)

LIVING COST DIFFERENTIAL : Only Wabush, NL

Employee with dependants : $4.06 hourly ($8,471 per year)

Employee without dependants : $2.44 hourly ($5,082 per year)

FUEL AND UTILITIES DIFFERENTIAL : Only St. Anthony, NL

Employee with dependants : $0.66 hourly ($1,375 per year)

Employee without dependants : $0.40 hourly ($825 per year)

Duties

During winter months

During summer months, maintains and improves conditions of runways, taxiways, aprons, roads, and other airport access areas, grass and soil covered fields and storm drainage systems.

Performs preventive maintenance duties and minor repairs on equipment and structures. Assists other trades with major repairs that do not require specialized training or journeyman proficiency.
