Our client, a highly respected law firm in Calgary, is seeking a skilled Litigation Legal Assistant to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious professional with 5+ years of post-certificate experience at a reputable law firm. The ideal candidate will excel in building positive relationships, have strong attention to detail, and effectively manage a busy workload.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide legal administrative support to three lawyers in a fast-paced, professional environment with tact, discretion, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Manage time, resources, workflow, and competing deadlines for various litigation practices, including Commercial Litigation and Construction Litigation.
• Coordinate calendars, schedule meetings
• Plan and coordinate meetings, functions, and travel arrangements.
• Utilize software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Bighand, and Soluno accounting system.
• Provide clerical support, including drafting correspondence (letters, memos, emails) and reviewing / proofreading documents.
• Manage client account administration and maintain paper and electronic filing systems.
• Track and diarize limitation dates and ensure efficient document management.
