Description

:

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Caterpillar equipment.
  • Perform inspections and identify mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine issues.
  • Use advanced diagnostic tools and technology to efficiently resolve equipment failures.
  • Complete repairs and preventative maintenance to high safety and quality standards.
  • Communicate with customers and internal teams to provide timely service updates.
  • Support a strong safety culture and follow all site and company safety requirements.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service that keeps equipment operating at peak performance.

Qualifications:

  • 2nd, 3rd, 4th year apprentices will be considered
  • Strong experience in Electrical, Hydraulic and Emissions systems
  • Experience with construction, forestry and mining equipment is an asset
  • Engine and/or component rebuilding experience would be beneficial
  • Previous gas engine and power generation experience would be considered an asset

Important Details:

  • This position is based out of Terrace, Monday - Friday (5x2) shift
  • A condition of employment may include the ability to wear a respirator

Union Membership: This is a unionized position. Union dues will be deducted from your pay upon hire. Terms of employment are governed by a collective agreement.
