Our client is currently seeking a Lead Data Engineer with expertise in Python and Microsoft Power Platform  to lead the development, maintenance, and support of automated solutions and applications.

This role offers the opportunity to  lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams  to design, implement, and enhance innovative automation and data solutions. The team lead will also act as the  primary point of contact for troubleshooting, permissions configuration, and support  related to Microsoft tools and automations. Additionally, the position involves  managing daily maintenance activities , such as resolving alerts within existing reports and applications using Python within a virtual machine, ensuring smooth operations across all tools.

The ideal candidate will have  5+ years of experience  in data engineering, automation, or similar roles, including  1–2 years in a leadership capacity . Expertise in debugging and maintaining Python code is essential, along with hands-on experience in  Microsoft Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, and PowerQuery  for creating and maintaining applications and automations.

This role is ideal for a highly technical leader with a passion for driving innovation in automation and data-driven processes while mentoring team members and collaborating closely with stakeholders.  Does this sound like you?
