Are you ready to take the next step in your accounting career and work directly in the heart of the manufacturing sector? Our client, a leading manufacturer, is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys full-cycle accounting responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage full cycle Accounts Payable (AP) processes : invoice entry, coding, payment runs, vendor reconciliations, and resolving discrepancies.
Prepare and post journal entries.
Assist with month-end close activities, including accruals, prepaids, and reporting support.
Perform account reconciliations (bank, AP, AR, inventory, intercompany).
Support finance team with audit prep, data analysis, and ad hoc projects.
Ensure accuracy and consistency of records in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Qualifications :

2-3 years of hands-on accounting experience (manufacturing preferred).

Strong understanding of full-cycle AP, journal entries, month-end closing, and reconciliations.

Working knowledge of accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar ERP).

Proficiency in MS Excel; experience with formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.

Excellent attention to detail, organization, and ability to meet deadlines.

Post-secondary degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field; pursuing CPA is an asset.
