Our client is seeking an experienced Surveyor to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a field-focused professional who enjoys working on a variety of civil construction, municipal infrastructure, and land development projects.
The successful candidate will play a key role in providing accurate survey data, supporting project delivery, and collaborating with clients, contractors, and project teams to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.

Compensation & Hours:
• The rate of pay will be $30-35/hr
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Occasional overtime required

Position Summary:
• Perform legal, construction, and topographic surveys for a variety of civil infrastructure and land development projects
• Complete survey layout, grading, elevations, site measurements, and data collection with a high degree of accuracy
• Interpret engineering drawings, plans, and specifications to support field operations
• Process survey data and prepare field notes, reports, and project documentation
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, municipalities, and project stakeholders to support successful project delivery
• Monitor project progress and identify field issues, providing practical solutions as they arise
• Ensure survey work is completed safely and in accordance with project specifications and industry standards
• Assist with project coordination, contract administration, and construction support activities as required
• Mentor junior field staff and promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and quality

Required Qualifications:
• Registered, or eligible to register, with ASET
• Minimum of 4 years of surveying experience within civil construction, municipal infrastructure, or land development projects
• Technical diploma or related education in Civil Engineering Technology, Surveying, or Construction Management
• Strong understanding of surveying principles, construction practices, and site development
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and project teams
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Civil 3D
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License, and clean driving abstract with the ability to travel to project sites as required
