This client values work life balance, supports CPA education, and seeking a high performing individual.The Role : The Junior Accountant provides support to the Project Accounting team by managing dailyaccounting tasks and taking ownership of monthly close deliverables to meet reportingdeadlines and other business needs.

• Support full-cycle accounting for various corporate entities andplex project entities,
• including processing accounts payable, preparing monthly close journal entries, preparing invoices, preparing bank reconciliations and processing deposits.
• Prepare and support preparation of monthly financial reporting, including balance
• sheets, ie statements and GST reasonability calculations, for various corporate
• and project entities;
• Collect and provide invoices and other information for auditors and quantity surveyors;
• Process invoices and ensure the accuracy of coding, allocation and approvals;
• Prepare and process cheque requisitions;
• Maintain vendor profile and EFT vendor information;
• Process monthly ACH / EFT and cheque payments;
• Perform ad hoc tasks to support Director of Finance, Corporate Controller and
• Project Accounting Managers as needed;
• Provide filing and other administrative support as needed.
