Financial Analyst, Financial Reporting
As Financial Analyst, Financial Reporting you will support internal and external statistical, financial and management reporting and analysis. Provide financial reporting and other support to Senior Management. Prepare company-wide presentations, reports and analysis for Headquarters, zone meetings and other strategic meetings with Executives. Develop reporting solutions to meet specific management information and operating needs. Manage components of planning processes, provide productivity benchmarks and unit cost on a company-wide basis, recommend productivity benchmarks and provide sensitivity and scenario analysis with conclusions and recommendations.
You will report to the Director, Financial Reporting and Analytics and will follow a hybrid schedule with two in-office days per week at our Cambridge, Ontario location.
What you will do
- Support internal and external statistical, financial and management reporting and analysis.
- Prepare financial and management reporting and forecast updates on expenses, identifying areas of focus and helping the business develop action plans to improve performance.
- Support month and year-end processes to ensure accurate results.
- Lead components of the planning process, working with business owners to incorporate strategic projects and improve performance.
- Support the design of automated reporting and analysis solutions by managing master data, providing specifications for data warehouse structures and indicators, and validating warehouse content for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare company-wide presentations, reports and analysis for Head Office meetings, zone meetings and other Executive meetings.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports and perform other activities as needed by Senior Management.
