Shift : Friday to Tuesday (Wednesday and Thursday are scheduled days off)

Hours :

• Sunday : 9 : 00 am to 5 : 30 pm (8 hours per day with 30 minute lunch break)
• Monday : 4 : 00 pm to 7 : 00 pm
• Tuesday : 4 : 00 pm to 7 : 00 pm
• Wednesday : Regular day off
• Thursday : Regular day off
• Friday : 4 : 00 pm to 7 : 00 pm
• Saturday : 10 : 00 am to 2 : 00 pm

Wage : As per collective agreement (Current starting rate is $22.94 / hour. Top rate after 4 years is $29.23)

Description

The PM Sorter sorts and separates freight by destination, weight, size, and shape to meet client delivery schedules.

Hours of work : Friday, Monday, Tuesday 4 : 00PM - 7 : 00PM, Saturday 10 : 00AM - 2 : 00PM, Sunday 9 : 00AM - 5 : 30PM, 21 Hours per week

Wage : $22.94 per hour. Top Rate is $29.23 as per collective agreement.

Location : 9325B 200th St, Langley BC

Responsibilities

Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks

Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load-out

Load freight into linehaul / cube truck or trailer

Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles

Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items

Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted packaged mail or packages and mail marked for priority or weekend delivery.
