About the Role: We are seeking a results-driven Plant Manager to lead and oversee all daily operations at our Quebec manufacturing facility. This is a critical leadership role focused on driving production goals, ensuring top-tier safety, and maintaining a positive, high-performance workplace culture. As a replacement role, you will have the unique opportunity to work alongside the outgoing Plant Manager to ensure a smooth, comprehensive transition into the facility. Key Responsibilities: - Operational Leadership: Oversee the entire plant, including production, maintenance, quality assurance, and logistics. - Strategic Growth: Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, and overall site profitability. - Safety & Compliance: Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). - Team Development: Lead, hire, and train plant staff while managing performance and fostering motivation. - Continuous Improvement: Monitor production metrics and implement Lean manufacturing techniques and process optimization. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align with supply chain, engineering, and corporate leadership to meet organizational goals. - Financial Oversight: Manage the plant budget and rigorously control operational costs. Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field. - Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in plant or operations management within a manufacturing environment. - Leadership: Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with excellent interpersonal abilities. - Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with industry-standard equipment, ERP systems, and production management software.
