Job Posting: WES/WCS Technical Developer – Logistics Technology Implementation Location: Brantford, ON (On-Site) Address: Fenridge Ct, Brantford, ON N3V 1G2 About the Role We are seeking a WES/WCS Technical Developer to join our team for an on-site logistics technology implementation project with Procter & Gamble Canada. This role involves deploying, debugging, and optimizing a Warehouse Control System (WCS), collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring seamless system integration. Key Responsibilities On-Site Implementation & Support: - Deploy, debug, and optimize the Warehouse Control System. - Conduct user training to ensure stable system operation. Development & Testing: - Participate in requirement analysis and solution design. - Develop core modules using Java (SpringBoot, SpringMVC, MyBatis) and perform unit testing. Troubleshooting & Documentation: - Resolve technical faults during implementation and provide on-site support. - Document implementation processes, operation manuals, and troubleshooting guides. Collaboration: - Liaise with clients and internal R&D teams to sync requirement changes and technical issues. - Act as a technical bridge between electrical control, mechanical, and software teams. - Algorithm Optimization: - Contribute to logistics scheduling algorithms to improve warehouse efficiency. Job Requirements Education: - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Engineering, Logistics Engineering, Automation, or related fields. Technical Skills: - 2+ years of Java development (SpringBoot, SpringMVC, MyBatis). - Experience with WCS systems or warehouse automation projects (AGVs, stacker cranes, conveyors). - Proficiency in MySQL, Linux, and basic electrical control systems (PLCs, sensors). Soft Skills: - Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities. - Willingness to travel long-term and adapt to on-site work rhythms. Why Join Us?
