IT Analyst (12 positions) for provincial government agency client, North York facility.
Marberg Job Number : 2448.
Job Type : Temporary.
Initial Term : February 15, 2024 to July 31, 2025.
Target Compensation Range : From $35 per hour to $45 per hour, according to experience.
Regular Work Hours : FULL TIME HOURS; 7.25 hours per day not including 1 hour unpaid lunch break, to be worked between 9 am and 9 pm, on a rotating shift basis, Sunday through Saturday (36.25 work hours per week, including evenings and weekends). Must be available to work additional paid hours as required during peak periods.
Work Location : 100% onsite at client's North York office, with free parking provided.
Onsite Dress Code : Business Casual according to client business requirements.
Position Reports To : Manager, Field IT.
Responsibilities Summary :
Utilize advanced experience in Microsoft software, PC desktop hardware, and Network and Telecom cabling including installation techniques and methods to conduct hardware, software, and telecom installation and maintenance work.
- Conduct imaging of various hardware.
- Determine client technical issues through troubleshooting, resolve issues or escalate to appropriate support staff.
- Maintain proper asset and inventory records related to IT equipment.
- Conduct computer deployments and rollouts as required.
- Maintain or develop IT documentation and records as required.
- Adhere to all departmental processes, procedures and protocols.
- Additional IT installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and analyst responsibilities as required.
Qualifications :
Education : Post Secondary Degree in Computer Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Preferred Work Experience : Approximately 2-5+ years of experience working in a service-desk oriented environment, including incident management processes and procedures.
