Agile Project Manager with Jira Administration IT

Job Type : CONTRACT - Long Term
Job Summary : We are looking for an experienced Agile Project Manager IT to lead and manage software development projects using Agile methodologies. The ideal candidate will coordinate cross-functional teams, ensure alignment with business goals, and drive project execution with a focus on efficiency, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities : Agile Project Management : Lead Agile / Scrum teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Plan, execute, and monitor IT projects, ensuring timely delivery. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Scrum & Agile Practices : Act as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach to facilitate Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.). Foster a culture of Agile best practices, continuous delivery, and iterative development. Remove impediments to ensure the development team's efficiency. Stakeholder & Team Collaboration : Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and QA teams to align project goals. Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure clear communication across teams. Drive decision-making and resolve conflicts to maintain project momentum. Risk & Issue Management : Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure proper tracking and resolution of issues affecting project timelines. Process Improvement & Reporting : Measure project performance using Agile metrics (velocity, burndown charts, cycle time). Recommend and implement process improvements for better efficiency. Maintain project documentation, reports, and status updates for leadership. Qualifications & Skills : Educational Background : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience : 5+ years of IT project management experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe). Experience working in software development, cloud, or IT infrastructure projects. Technical & Agile Expertise : Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) preferred. Hands-on experience with Agile project management tools like JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps. Understanding of DevOps, CI / CD, and cloud platforms is a plus. Soft Skills : Excellent leadership, communication, and team facilitation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
