Description de poste
Job: Warehouse / Logistics Associate
Shift: 9AM-5PM, Monday to Friday
Pay: $23-$24 an hour based on experience
Location: Richmond Hill, ON.
*Raymond Reach Forklift license required

Are you an experienced Warehouse Associate - Logistics looking for a rewarding, high-paying opportunity in Richmond Hill, Ontario? Randstad is currently seeking a detail-oriented, reliable Warehouse Associate - Logistics to join our client's dynamic team in the manufacturing & logistics sector. In this role, you will play a crucial part in daily supply chain operations within a fast-paced environment supporting a leading pharmaceutical organization. As a key team member in manufacturing & logistics, you will oversee essential warehouse duties including order picking, packing, shipping, generating Bills of Lading (BOLs), completing paperwork, and navigating enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. Offering a competitive pay rate of $23.00 to $24.00 per hour, this position features a desirable day-shift schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with fully paid breaks and lunch, ensuring a complete 40-hour paid workweek.

As a Warehouse Associate - Logistics, your work directly impacts the distribution of critical healthcare products. While approximately 90% of your daily responsibilities involve manual picking, packing, shipping, and administrative inventory tasks in the manufacturing & logistics department, roughly 10% of your role will involve operating a Raymond Reach forklift to move, stack, and retrieve high-density pallets safely. This role is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a blended position that combines physical warehouse tasks, specialized equipment operation, and digital ERP inventory tracking. This position is a 1-month contract assignment to start, with strong possibilities for extension or long-term growth depending on ongoing business needs and candidate performance.

Working within the manufacturing & logistics division for a pharmaceutical client requires high accuracy and strict adherence to safety and quality protocols. Prior experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical supply chains is considered a strong asset, as it prepares you for the precision required in handling regulated product lines. Whether you are staging shipments, preparing accurate Bills of Lading (BOLs), or checking off inventory manifests, your meticulous attention to detail ensures seamless supply chain flow across the entire organization.

While this position is based in Richmond Hill, Ontario, strong English communication skills (written and spoken) are mandatory for this role. The position requires daily reading and creation of complex shipping documents, Bills of Lading (BOLs), precise order labels, and direct data input into digital ERP systems, as well as clear verbal coordination with team leads and transport drivers.

Advantages
• Competitive hourly compensation of $23.00 to $24.00 per hour based on experience.
• Full 40-hour paid workweek with 100% paid breaks and a paid lunch hour.
• Predictable standard day shift schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
• Convenient job location in Richmond Hill, ON, accessible via public transit and major highways.
• Opportunity to gain valuable experience in the specialized pharmaceutical and healthcare manufacturing & logistics industry.
• Initial 1-month contract with high potential for extension or long-term transition based on business demands.
• Weekly pay schedule with direct deposit via Randstad’s reliable payroll system.
• Access to Randstad's comprehensive candidate benefits, career coaching, and dedicated recruitment expert support.

Responsibilities
• Accurately perform order picking, packing, and shipping tasks for outgoing pharmaceutical and health products according to detailed order specifications.
• Safely operate a Raymond Reach forklift for approximately 10% of the shift to relocate, retrieve, stack, and stage palletized goods safely.
• Generate precise Bills of Lading (BOLs), shipping manifests, waybills, and export/import paperwork in accordance with logistics compliance standards.
• Enter, track, and update inventory movements, order status, and stock levels accurately using the client’s internal ERP system.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for quality, damage, quantity discrepancies, and correct labeling prior to staging.
• Perform physical warehouse tasks, including lifting, bending, sorting, wrapping pallets, and stacking boxes up to 50 lbs as required throughout the shift.
• Collaborate closely with logistics supervisors, warehouse leads, and external transport carriers to maintain schedule integrity.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and compliant warehouse environment adhering to health, safety, and industry regulations within manufacturing & logistics.

Qualifications
• Valid, accredited Raymond Reach Forklift Operator License with hands-on operating experience.
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of proven experience in a Warehouse Associate - Logistics, shipping/receiving, or order picker role.
• Demonstrated experience utilizing ERP systems for inventory tracking, order processing, and administrative paperwork.
• Practical experience creating and reviewing Bills of Lading (BOLs) and courier shipping documents.
• Ability to perform manual labor, stand for extended periods, and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs throughout the day.
• Prior work experience within the pharmaceutical, medical device, or healthcare manufacturing & logistics industry is considered a strong asset.
• High school diploma or equivalent secondary education credentials.
• Legally authorized to work full-time in Canada.
