Your new company is a leading architectural firm known for strong design solutions and a commitment to excellence. They specialize in Multi-Family Residential projects and has a strong portfolio of high-rise projects and are known for working with the cities leading developers! Their team is dedicated to creating sustainable and functional spaces that meet the needs of their clients.
Your new role
The successful candidate will be a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Technologist or Intern Architect to join their team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the design and construction process, working closely with architects, engineers, and other professionals to develop and implement architectural solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed architectural drawings, plans, and specifications. You will be collaborating with architects and engineers to develop design concepts and construction documents. You will assist in the preparation of project proposals, cost estimates, and schedules.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have a minimum 5+ years' relevant experience with a British Columbia Architectural firm, Post-Secondary Degree in Architecture or a Diploma in Architectural Technology, must be registered with the AIBC, or eligible to be registered in the province of B.C. You will have proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit as well as other design tools. You will have a strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction methods, excellent communication and teamwork skills. The successful candidate will have an attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities as well as the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
