Structure Projects, Collaborations, and Partnerships : Formalize external partnerships with universities, research centers, startups. Assess and Enhance Organizational Readiness : Evaluate people, data, tools, and processes against Minimum Viable Company standards. Champion Strategic Sourcing and Partnership : Deploy a sourcing plan to establish an optimal global supplier landscape. Oversee End-to-End Sourcing and Contract Management : Monitor the full tender lifecycle. Support and participate in Supplier Governance : Establish effective supplier governance for consistency. Develop and Communicate Strategic Insights : Create visualizations, analyses, and projections based on contract planning and supplier performance data. Identify and Mitigate Program Risks : Proactively identify potential risks and opportunities, develop plans. Leadership in innovation : Proven experience in creating, leading, and directing cross-functional teams. Expertise R&T and partnerships : Knowledge of R&T life cycles, startup ecosystem, academic collaborations. Project & Procurement Leadership : Proven experience in strategic project sourcing, procurement. The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for a passionate and strategic leader to structure and drive the Innovation, R&T (Research & Technology), and Startup Engagement strategy for Airbus Canada entity, based in Mirabel. You will be at the crossroads of ideas, university partnerships, and emerging technologies, including those from Europe, in an ambitious new adventure in the aviation industry.
