General Description :
As a Multi-Craft Technician, you will be responsible for supporting the manufacturing process by troubleshooting, carrying out preventative maintenance, as well as the repair of all process related equipment in your assigned area. You will also be responsible for adhering to and promoting all safety and housekeeping standards throughout the facility.
Pay Breakdown :
- 41.66 / hr with built-in OT and $1.25 / hr rotating shift bonus (equates to $90,976.69 annual earnings)
- Overtime shifts available (base rate pay x 1.5 = $61.08 / hr)
- Statutory Holiday shifts available (base rate pay x 2 = $81.44 / hr)
- You also have the option to keep the hours you work to flex them to another day if you are scheduled to work that day or get paid out for that day making it a base rate pay x 3 situation

Perform maintenance and repairs on a diverse range of equipment to ensure optimum operating conditions and uptime across all related craftsInstall, troubleshoot, repair and maintain machines and drive power distribution systems, instrumentation, hydraulic systems and pneumatic systemsPerform PLC maintenanceTroubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issuesInterpret blueprints, sketches, maintenance manuals and manufacturing specificationsCut, form, thread, fit and install piping for air, water, steam, oil nitrogen, gas, and other linesPrepare and weld in flat, vertical, or overhead positions with multiple technologiesUse gas torches or other equipment to cut structural stock for fabricationUse computerized work order system to refer to in order to prioritize work as instructed, sign onto work orders when work begins, sign out parts against a work order and record time off for all maintenance activities performedAbide by safe work standards both in the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) along with Goodyear's internal safety programs which include, but are not limited to Lock-Out / Tag-Out (LOTO), Isolation and Control of Hazardous Energy (ICHE), Work at Heights, Confined Spaces Entry, electrical safety and standards as they relate to Ontario 164 / 99; Electrical Safety Code; in conjunction with Canadian Electrical Code (CSA C22.1 : 24) as defined by Canadian Standards Association (CSA), and appropriate use of all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), which includes but not limited to arc flash protection gear (CSA) Z463, fall protection gear, safety glasses, ear protection and safety boots.Adhere to Goodyear's attendance policyPerform a variety of manual tasks in varying temperatures for extended periods of time, which may include lifting light to heavy materials, climbing, standing, squatting, bending, and working at heights when applicableBasic Qualifications :

Current Certificate of Qualification recognized by Skilled Trades Ontario and related experience in one of the following :Industrial electrician with 3+ years' journeyman industrial experienceMechanical / electronic / electrical technology or instrumentation technology with 3+ years of related industrial experienceIndustrial maintenance mechanic (millwright) with 3+ years' journeyman industrial experienceMotor vehicle mechanic with 3+ years' experienceExperience adhering to industry-specific safety standardsCandidate Criteria :
