Description de poste

Informatica Developer (SAP conversion) – 6mo+, full Remote

We are Systematix and we have a fully remote contract role for one of our Media clients for an Informatica Developer, to perform data conversion in the context of a transformation project (moving from SAP to Oracle Fusion).

Activities

The Informatica Developer is responsible for the following components :

Design, develop and maintain ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter
Create and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes
Identify and troubleshoot issues in ETL processes and develop solutions to resolve them
Perform unit testing, integration testing, and system testing on ETL processes

Service Requirements – Qualifications

To fulfill this role, you must have the following qualifications :

At least six(6) years of experience as an Informatica Developer for data conversion. Proficient in SQL, Unix and Shell scripting and have experience optimizing code for performance

Conversion Project Experience : Prior experience working on SAP conversion or migration projects , with a clear understanding of the conversions and transformation phase and its critical role in the overall conversion.

In-depth knowledge of systems development and project lifecycle methodologies, including experience implementing at least one major project from start to finish;

First-class expertise in Data Transformation.

Manage encryption and data security

Must be able to troubleshoot issues and work independently to resolve technical problems.

Familiarity in using tools such as Google Productivity Tools (or similar tools) to design and document your changes;

Good knowledge of change and incident management methodologies and tools (ITSM, ITIL)

Knowledge of Agile practices for specification and testing - an asset.

Excellent Communication and Collaboration Skills : Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
