Adecco is currently hiring a Business Analyst - People Analytics for a temporary contract opportunity in Saint John, NB. This role is ideal for a highly analytical professional with experience in business analysis, people analytics, or workforce analytics who enjoys transforming complex workforce data into meaningful insights that support strategic business decisions.
In this position, you will partner with HR and business leaders to analyze workforce trends, develop dashboards and reporting solutions, and provide data-driven recommendations that enhance organizational performance and support the growth of the people analytics function.
  • Pay Rate: $25.00 - $30.00/hour, based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated skills
  • Location: Saint John, NB (Home Office, King's Square)
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Employment Type: Full-Time | Temporary Contract (through at least mid-September)
Responsibilities
  • Analyze workforce data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and actionable insights related to recruitment, retention, employee engagement, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance people analytics dashboards, reports, and scorecards.
  • Transform complex workforce data into clear visualizations and executive-ready reporting.
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to understand reporting needs and translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
  • Support the continued development and improvement of the organization's people analytics capabilities, reporting frameworks, and processes.
  • Perform ad hoc workforce analyses to support organizational initiatives and business challenges.
  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of HR and workforce data.
  • Document reporting methodologies, key metrics, definitions, and analytical processes.
  • Present findings, trends, and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and meaningful manner.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications
  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • Experience in Business Analysis, People Analytics, HR Analytics, Workforce Analytics, or a related analytical role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex workforce data.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Power BI.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, and advanced formulas.
  • Experience working with HRIS platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, UKG, or similar systems.
  • Experience building dashboards, scorecards, and business reporting solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy and quality.
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Analytics, Human Resources, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Experience helping establish or enhance a people analytics function is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of HR metrics, talent management, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness is preferred.
  • Experience with SQL or other data analysis tools is considered an asset.
