Description de posteStrategizing and managing complex files, including assessing eligibility for Judicial Reviews, immigration and refugee appeals, work permits, provincial nominee applications, and permanent residence pathways. Preparing and overseeing the preparation of a wide range of immigration applications, including spousal sponsorships, H&C applications, study permits, visitor visas, and LMIA-based work permits. Conducting in-depth legal research on immigration law, policies, and procedural developments to support case strategies and ensure compliance. Prioritizing and managing a diverse and high-volume portfolio of immigration cases while meeting deadlines and client expectations. Effectively multi-tasking and using initiative to address urgent client needs and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
Overview
Mandall Immigration Law is a highly rated Toronto-based immigration law firm. We provide services in all areas of immigration, refugee, and humanitarian law. We are client-focused and offer exceptional legal guidance on complex immigration and refugee matters.
We are hiring a motivated Immigration Lawyer to join our firm with one to three years of experience in immigration and refugee work, including humanitarian and compassionate applications, refugee claims, appeals, judicial review applications, and other areas of immigration law. These include temporary resident visa applications such as visitor visas, study permits, work permits, and super visas; permanent residency pathways including Express Entry, Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs), family sponsorships, and caregiver programs; business and investment immigration such as Start-Up Visas, Owner-Operator LMIAs, and other economic immigration streams; citizenship applications and restoration of status; and corporate immigration services including LMIA applications and intra-company transfers. This is an online position and is available immediately.
Requirements :
- License in good standing with LSO
- 1 to 3 years of immigration experience
- Experience with the IRCC online portals and ESDC portal
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills are essential
- Excellent client relation skills, including effective communication and managing expectations
- Ability to manage a high-volume practice
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Job Type : Permanent
Salary : $70,000-$120,000 depending on level of experience.
Schedule : Fully Remote, Monday through Friday.
