What might a typical day look like?
As a cashier, you will :
- punch and / or scan merchandise selected by the customer;
- ensure accuracy of prices punched / scanned and make cancellations according to established standards;
- handle cash and media (debit cards, cheques, etc.) and make deposits according to established policies;
- ensure the balance of the cash register and respect the productivity standards (sales / hours, punching / minute)
