A day in the life :
You will be responsible for providing service to various clients throughout Vancouver Island. As Apprentices your responsibilities will be to learn all aspects of a Journeyperson's role. Your immediate responsibilities include, but are not limited :
- Fill out reports accurately out reports, providing notes where necessary
- Tag equipment and record model and serial numbers
- Safe handling of refrigerant and filling out refrigerant logs
- Support Journeyperson on service and construction jobs
- Perform basic HVAC / R Maintenance
- Perform basic refrigeration pipping practices
- Perform basic hardware (ex : hinges and door closers, door gaskets)
- Reclaim gas
- Perform pressure testing, evacuating, and charging
