TEEMAOntario, CanadaAbout the Company - Our client is a manufacturer and supplier of steel tubes for the oil and gas industry. They have steel pipe manufacturing facilities across Canada. They have over 50,000 employees world wide.
About the Role - They are looking for an Electrical Supervisor for their facility in Northern Ontario. This position requires the right individual to relocate to a place which is listed as top 100 places in the world to visit by New York Times and top 50 in Canada by National Geographic. This Northern Ontario region is well known for its beautiful landscapes and biking trails. Relocation expenses up to a certain amount will be reimbursed by the client.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the correct diagnosis of the problem / failure and the execution of the necessary maintenance of equipment.
- Performs simple inspections on operative equipment.
- Verify technical resource availability, ensuring a suitable minimum stock.
- Support Base Maintenance Supervisors in the execution of preventive tasks during the normal course of production.
- Support Base Maintenance Supervisors in the execution of failure analyses.
- Comply with HSE procedures, report any incident or observation, perform inspections and participate in the investigation process.
- Manage and update the maintenance information system and technical documentation.
- Participate in maintenance programs to minimize / optimize the use of required energy.
- Interact with internal and / or external contacts with a higher level of autonomy.
- Proactively motivates, coaches, communicates with and develops his / her staff and manages HR related activities.
Qualifications - 3-10 years relevant industry experience. Mechatronic or Electrical specialization / skilled trades certification. Previous supervisory experience would be considered a strong asset. Experience with Allen Bradley and / or Siemens equipment.
